Special Needs Class

Ages 10 - adult

All-Ability Class

designed for people with special needs.

Developmental ages 10 - adult, divided into peer groups. Students cook, assemble, serve and enjoy a different recipe at each class. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with notice.

Led by certified Para Professionals, this class practices:

- kitchen safety

-independent life skills

- social skills

- cooking techniques

Celebrate with us at Camp!

Kids cook their own breakfast, lunch and snacks, desserts, make drinks, enjoy gardening, guest visitors with treats, science experiments, indoor/outdoor games and have great fun with friends!

Safety precautions solidly in place! Clean, distanced, respectful and enriching....a GREAT way to keep minds and bodies engaged and active!

Camp Hours : 9am – 3 pm (extended care available from 8 am – 5 pm for an additional fee)

Ages 5 - 12

Tuition: $75 plus tax , includes all meals, drinks, snacks, science and craft supplies and a GREAT time with our teachers in a small camp setting!

Advanced Cooking Class for Kids

Ages 10 - 16

Local Chefs and cooking instructors take older kids through a detailed course of culinary skills including:

-       knife skills

-       measurements and conversions

-       ServSafe food handling practices

-       herb /spice / ingredient identification

-       palette expansion

-       first-aid in the kitchen

…and MORE in a detailed and deliberate practice setting.  

THIS CLASS IS LIMITED TO 15 STUDENTS ONLY

As a team, or individually, students will make a dish to sample in each class.

(full meals NOT always provided due to the focused nature of the coursework)

Choose either MONDAY or TUESDAY nights, 5:30 - 7:30pm 

Fees:$165/month plus tax  ~ $45 plus tax drop in rate


* Celebration Dinner– additional fee required to participate in our end of session showcase dinner, hosted by our students, serving their families!

…and you get to EAT your creations in this professional but FUN practice setting.

As a team, students will cook, bake and enjoy their recipes in each class!

Wednesday nights, 5:30– 7:30 pm

Professional cooking instructors take kids through HANDS-ON culinary experiences that support a well-rounded education, independent living skills, and personal confidences as they make math, science and cultural connections while creating delicious dishes!

Topics of experience include:

  • knife skills
  • measurements and conversions
  • ServSafe food handling practices
  • herb /spice / ingredient identification
  • palette expansion
  • first-aid in the kitchen…and MORE in a detailed and deliberate practice setting.

LIMITED CLASS SIZES  (ages 5 - 16, divided into peer groups, all skill levels welcome)

Students will make an entrée and dessert to enjoy in each class, meals/drinks included.

PRIVATE FAMILY CLASSES ALSO AVAILABLE by request!
