Potential Instructors: Our events generally include children preparing and cooking their own food, conducting crazy kitchen science experiments, and playing games. Theatrical, leadership, or teaching experiences all provide excellent skills that transfer to work at Culinary Kids. If you feel you are mature, energetic, organized, a meticulous cleaner, a natural leader, and someone who can entertain and manage a group of children in a safe manner while following our curriculum and guidelines, then send us your information! After being hired as an instructor, Culinary Kids allows for upward mobility: you could end up managing your own program!
Potential Chefs: If you're a certified chef or in the process of attending culinary school, Culinary Kids could be a great fit for you! As a Culinary Kids Teaching Chef, you would work with a Class Manager to choose recipes for upcoming classes. From very early on, you'd be largely in charge of your own program, During classes, you would work with a Teaching Assistant to lead cooking classes for students of a variety of students, some of whom go on to compete on shows like Chopped Junior and Top Chef Junior.
