Professional cooking instructors take kids through HANDS-ON culinary experiences that support a well-rounded education, independent living skills, and personal confidences as they make math, science and cultural connections while creating delicious dishes!

Topics of experience include:

-       knife skills, measurements and conversions

-       ServSafe food handling and sanitizing practices

-       herb /spice / ingredient identification

LIMITED CLASS SIZES  (ages 6 - 16, divided into peer groups, all skill levels welcome)

Registration and Pre-Payment REQUIRED to secure your spot.

(Payment can be made online or in our office)

*Due to the nature of our advance investment in each event (securing exact amounts of ingredients per child and scheduling staff for safety ratios), refunds cannot be offered if absent for any reason. You are welcome to transfer your spot to another guest in such case.

Tuition Fees:

$30 plus tax per class

Includes 3 hours of professional instruction, lunch entrée, drinks, science experiments and outdoor activities or gardening with our farm animals (hens and piggie!)

Tuesdays, 5:30 - 7:30...Includes dinner, dessert and drinks!

Advanced Cooking Class for Kids

Ages 10 - 16

Local Chefs and cooking instructors take older kids through a detailed course of culinary skills including:

-       knife skills

-       measurements and conversions

-       ServSafe food handling practices

-       herb /spice / ingredient identification

-       palette expansion

-       first-aid in the kitchen

…and MORE in a detailed and deliberate practice setting.  


As a team, or individually, students will make a dish to sample in each class.
(full meals NOT always provided due to the focused nature of the coursework)

TUESDAY nights, 5:30 - 7:30pm 


$165/month (4 classes) plus tax

 $45 plus tax one-time "Try It"  rate



STUDENTS CAN JOIN ANYTIME (tuition may be prorated if joining mid-quarter)

To prevent confusion regarding varying numbers of weeks in each month, or holidays when our office is closed, we group our classes and tuition into blocks of 4 classes per payment.

Tuition is charged as described in blocks of 4 classes following this schedule:

First Quarter Payment 1, due at time of registration or January 1st (covers class dates of 1/11, 1/18. 1/25, and 2/1)

Second Quarter Payment 2, due February 1st (covers class dates of 2/8, 2/15, 2/22 and 3/8) NO CLASS MARCH 1

Third Quarter Payment 3, due March 1st   (covers class dates of 3/15, 3/22, 3/29 and 4/5)

Fourth Quarter Payment 4, due April 1st (covers class dates of 4/5, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26 and 5/1)
