Fun Taste Tests, Kitchen Safety, Independent Life Skills, Social Skills, Cooking Techniques, Sensory Activities, Interactive Games, Science Experiments, GARDENING, OUTDOOR fun!

July 1, 2, 3    Special Needs Camp

(WE like to call it “ALL Abilities” Camp)

1 pm - 4pm*

Ages 7 through adult… (young adults divided into peer groups)

Dim lighting, soft music, certified instructors

Curriculum flexes to accommodate varied ages and abilities, arranged into developmentally appropriate peer groups.

Adult staff include certified professionals on a 1:3 ratio

*Sessions are planned for the afternoon to accommodate the Extended School Year schedule, allowing more students to attend.

Session Fee:   $275 plus tax

Parents, paras and aides are welcome to stay if desired, but we encourage independent behavior.

Culinary Kids welcomes ALL levels of ability for Birthday Parties, field trips and more!

We host Thursday night classes for ages 10 and up, AND we design specialty field trips, birthday parties and group events to meet the needs of those with varied abilities.

Hours: 9 am – 3 pm, (8-5 extended care available)

Ages 5 -12, divided into peer groups

Weekly rates include all meals and drinks $335/wk ($75 ext care)

Kids cook breakfast, lunch and snacks and enjoy a full day of planned science experiments, indoor and outdoor play, arts, crafts, games and special guest visitors!

July 8 – 12: Animal Planet

Kids cook crabby calzones, chihuahua tostadas and also get to try their hand at ham and cheese monkey bread! Campers compete in our animal yoga challenge, test their knowledge of wacky animal facts, and even EAT like animals (puppies don’t have hands… and birds

must catch the popcorn tossed into our beaks!). We will explore our WILD side in the rainforest, the arctic, desserts and oceans where we go fishing for new friends (gummy worms are the best bait this time of year!). We’ll construct sugar cube igloos to hide from polar bears and only the bravest will taste our chocolate covered crickets…those are reserved for the WILDEST of campers!

July 15 – 19: Disney Days

Be our guest ! Enjoy Ariel’s favorite…King Triton’s octopus hotdogs, make Captain Hook’s pirate ship breakfast boats, and Elsa’s glittered sensory snow to take home and share with your family!  Try some “Despicable” Minion favorites like banana pancakes and moon pies! Create Mowgli and Merida’s favorite dessert….bear claw brownies! Have fun with Finding Nemo (and Dory of course),  Inside Out, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Ratatouille themes & MUCH more!

July 22 - 26:   Mad Science

Will an egg float in salt water? What about sugar, or baking soda? Turn an egg into a bouncy ball, make kitchen quicksand, explode sodas and mints (which one works the best?). Oozy volcanoes, exploding marshmallows, all included in this wacky week of mad kitchen science! We play with our food and get to EAT the EXPERIMENTS! Kids get to create the perfect stuffed pancakes, make meatball subs on a stick, melt edible confetti into breakfast scones and much more! Sure to be a delicious mess!

July 29 – Aug 2 :   Game On!

Fortnight themed food fun, tossed with some old-school Minecraft,  Plants vs Zombies AND classics like Mario Smash Bros, Monopoly and more….a full range of games through the years will be brought to life in our kitchen.

ALL-Ability Classes ...designed for people with Special Needs!

Ages 10 - ADULT (Developmental Levels)

Students cook, assemble and enjoy a different recipe at each class.  

(dietary restrictions can be accommodated)

Led by Certified Para Professionals, this class practices:

• Kitchen safety
• Independent life skills
• Social skills
• Cooking techniques

Thursday nights  5:30 – 7:30 pm

Groups divided into peer groups.

Monthly Tuition: $165 plus tax ($179.35)  

(per 4 weeks, charged before the 1^st of each month)

Single Class Rate: $45 plus tax ($48.91)

A cookie cake Candyland board is fun to play AND eat. Minecraft creepers made from green rice krispies can battle with oozy zombie pizzas and green pea catapult shooters! Create your own health elixir or Fortnite slurp-juice to build something delicious! We turn favorite games into foods to play with and enjoy…we ‘re ready for your Hungry Hungry Hippos!

Aug 5 – 9 :  Movie Madness

Single Day rates available, $75/day

Split some of Moana’s tropical coconuts and dice with pineapple for summertime smoothies after a water battle with the evil Kakamora! Make some TROLLS festive rainbow waffles with homemade whipped cream, Big Hero 6’s oriental lo mein, Finding Dory's fish-art pancakes (and Becky's gourmet popcorn
